You seem to be steadily rising to ever greater heights in this small but creative city. So, what’s your drive, what about the scene keeps you interested? Can you talk about your trajectory a bit, how you carved a name in these streets?
Music has been, and will continue to be every day life for me, the drive is knowing that I can and will succeed. Seeing local bass pushers doing great things musically whether in production, deejaying or promoting has always been great for my motivation as well. We have an outstanding and very divers bass community here in Victoria, and the constant evolving nature of the music industry keeps my points of interest in the right place. Hard work has been key to my trajectory, no one has ever handed me a free pass nor would I ever want one.
Seriously tho, bigup yourself! Your studio efforts have been very well received, seeing the Dead Air Ep charting 13th on iTunes Canada. Then shortly after, getting a bunch of Soundcloud attention on HAVOC VIP (free for the people!) So, speaking of the people, what do you want them to know about this Dead Air project? Dead Air is a collaborative between S.U.B and Myself. We started on this road together many many moons ago (10+ years), so we evolved together as one. Dead Air is a project to showcase that path, our friendship, our road, our memories, our life. We been real busy in the studio as of late, The War E.P is due for release in the new year and we are currently working on our first album.
