Big up everyone and their summer, and their cat, and your neighbor as well!—really, why not?—Anyway, we at VibeUps are well stocked for this forthcoming summer. So much good music, people, food, fashion, visual art, other art—insert art—and finally getting to be outdoors for it… rain or shine, meow.
In that spirit, here’s a little VibeUps mix by yours truly, put together as a little teaser for this year’s Tall Tree Music Festival. A blender of genres, tempos and feels, showcasing 12 of this year’s lined -up artists, though it’s short enough to not cut too deeply into your own “Road to Tall Tree” playlists. Enjoy.
Lastly, I would like to share with you some camping tips that were unknown to us until discovered along the way, we call it the:
-Rake (no one likes rocks, twigs, anything else poking around under your tent)
-Shovel (so many uses)
-Broom (or a tree branch, totally compostable and semi-sustainable)
-Silver Shiny Shit (Future Clothes, its 2014 people)
-Costumes for yourself and at least one friend
-Sitting utensils
-Earplugs (seriously, you need these)
-Multi-purpose Head scarf-thing (long enough to act as handles while dancing)
-Red Filter for your flashlight/headlamp (don’t mess with your night vision, or others’ for that matter)
- -Enough compliments to share with other people
